We can't expect the government to do everything. Somebody needs to clean up the Gulf of Mexico after the BP oil-spill disaster. Let's figure this thing out and get busy it before all the marine life floats lifeless to the surface.
Since organization needs to happen down there before volunteers can be effectively directed, perhaps people with interest in cleaning up the gulf could, forgive the expression, send money.
So of course the question becomes whose work is worthy of receiving your/my hard earned greenbacks? Maybe we could start with the Bucket Brigade? Anybody out there got a few bucks for the Bucket Brigade? I'll spring for a few. How about you?
